These accommodations are becoming increasingly popular in Sardinia. B&B providers are also becoming more numerous.
One of the main reasons is the possibility to book such a room even for only a few days. Holiday flats and holiday homes are usually only rented for periods of two weeks or more.
So if you want to travel a lot around the island and are afraid of the high hotel prices and campsites, you are in good hands here.
Unfortunately, the B&Bs are not always clearly signposted and sometimes difficult to find. If you are looking for a B&B locally, it is best to ask in the bars or look for “Affitasi camere” signs.
Room decor ranges from simple rustic to upscale and luxurious. Depending on the season, accommodation costs start at around 20 EUR/night, but can also be over 100 EUR.
As the name suggests, daily breakfast is included in the room rate. Often these establishments also have a restaurant attached where you can for lunch and dinner.
A possibility to cook for yourself is usually not available. You should therefore find out exactly where you can go for lunch and dinner before booking – especially if you do not have your own vehicle.
