Practical tips

no rush

Siniscola, not a trace of hectic

Other countries – other customs!

On Sardinia, too, there are some special features and tips to keep in mind if you want to have a carefree holiday.

The people have adapted their daily routine to the climate. Hectic and fast pace is therefore out of place here.
The Sardinians are simply calm and yet everything works.
This is most obvious when dealing with authorities. Here you always have to expect longer waiting times, but you will hardly ever see a customer getting upset about it.

The opening hours also correspond to the climatic conditions. In the midday heat, you have to rest – that’s it!

If you want to get to know the island better, you will definitely need appropriate travel literature and maps. There are some foreign-language books and travel guides available in Sardinian bookshops, but the range is very limited.

When it comes to health and taking pets with you, there are also some important rules to follow.
